Electric Light Shoe

Submitted by admin on Wednesday, 1 April 2009One Comment

Dutch designers Freedon of Creation have created a giant, illuminated shoe containing a miniature city for Japanese footwear brand Onitsuka Tiger. The shoe, which is intended to communicate Onitsuka Tiger’s Japanese roots, is 3 feet long and contains a miniature city inside, the stripes resemble streets and highways and tall building point out from the shoe’s opening. The intricate detail was achieved with rapid prototype manufacturing, a process that allows a CAD file to be transformed into a solid object.
